LEARNING WITHOUT A COURSE BOOK

(A1)Not using a textbook is a new opportunity to learn more English in less time with more pleasure. This is because we will put a part of ourselves in our own book and also put part of our energy and creativity.

With more information about the world in our book, we´ll learn Geography and History and maybe more words in other languages too.

The possibilities are infinite, that´s why it´s better to create our own book instead of using a course one.

(B1) In our opinion If we work without a course book we feel lost, for example, when we want to study for a test, we haven´t anything that we can study except for our notes, and some people don´t take their notes, so they come crying to the teacher saying things like, “oh we haven´t anything to study” and all these things. However it also has good things, just like: the classes are less dull and the topics are more interesting and fresh, and this also helps you to learn faster, so this helps you if you go abroad to study, and finally we think that not having a course-book is a good idea.

(A2)We think that it is a good idea to make a book for our English classes because if we try to speak about things which are interesting and important we learn more. In our opinion the book shouldn´t have many activities because if that occurs it will be boring. We also think that the book has to deal with important things.

(A3)We think that the idea is very interesting because we are going to learn general culture and it is very creative, too. When we work without a book, we can make the class more dynamic. The course book is boring and the topics and the exercises aren’t very interesting. We can learn more because we make our own book.

(B3)- we think that not using a course-book and making our own book is a good idea because it will be easier to study and understand the things we dream about and we will do it our way.

With this way of learning we will be aware of what we know and what we ignore.

It´s more interesting than a normal course book.

We´ll have the capacity to speak with freedom and without fear of making mistakes.

It´s a new experience that could scare us but definitely it will be good for our education

(A4)We think that making our own book is better because we will learn more. We don´t like the course book because it isn´t funny, the activities are so boring. Besides it is very entertaining making it and it is a different and creative way to learn. We will improve our level because with this project we will learn new expressions and words. We will know other cultures too.

(B4) in our opinion making our own book could be a good idea. We think that in the course book, we only learn to write some verbs tenses. We want to have a good conversation, without problems.

Making the book lets us to have less problems when we speak English.

Also, we can put in our book, what our imagination can reach. Interesting things like real stories, or stories made by us.

But the most important thing, is the process to create the book.

(A6) We think that working without book is better. The classes become more fun, we aren’t boring and then we are more attentive. We learn to use English in real context. We don’t spend much money. It will help us to learn about our world.

However, in our opinion if we don’t organize well and we will lose a lot of time. We believe that if we had a book we would organize better.

(B6) Our group thinks that now we don´t waste money on books. There is more contact between students. The schoolbag is less heavy. There isn´t worry to finish the book.

Last year, we were bored with the book because It had many text and activities that were stupid. Our book is more interesting because it has information that we like and the activities are for our level. We prefer making our book because we understand everything and we will not be bored. We won’t have a book because we want to learn our things and we don’t like being with the same activities and text. And we don’t need to buy the new book.
